About the Role:
Join The Goddard School of McKinney as a Lead Infant Teacher on the closing shift, where you will play a vital role in nurturing and developing the youngest learners. We are looking for passionate educators who are excited to create a warm and engaging environment for infants, fostering their growth and development.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for infants.
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all children.
- Monitor and assess children's development and progress regularly.
- Communicate effectively with parents about their child's daily activities and milestones.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive learning experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and play areas.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- Follow all safety and health regulations to ensure the well-being of children.
Requirements:
- Preferred to have a degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Previous experience working with infants in a childcare setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with children and parents.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including closing shifts.
- Must pass background checks and maintain a professional demeanor.
- Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a love for learning.
